HS-R Creative Retouch is a London based retouching company working across fashion editorial, beauty, advertising and specialist retouch for creative collaborations, art projects & exhibitions.

Founded in 2012 by master retoucher Hide Shimamura who directly works on or oversees all HS-R projects. Our specialisms are in colour grading, skin texture and creative background construction as well as subtle, natural techniques which are suitable across both digital and film processes. Our retouchers are able to tailor their services to individual photographic styles and briefs and we offer clear, comprehensive quotations suitable for a range of project needs. Hide prides himself on HS-R’s attention to detail, calmness under pressure and ability to work to tight deadlines, finding creative solutions. All of our retouchers are team players who work with dedication and commitment to the success of each individual project.

HS-R Creative Retouch was founded in 2012 by Hide Shimamura who has several years of experience working at highest level of fashion and commercial retouching as well as bespoke photographic printing and framing for exhibitions.
